I wrote this piece as a personal essay, which really resonated with a lot of white evangelicals leaving their faith. It was shared over 10,000 times on The Root, Jezebel, and Splinter News. I received hundreds of emails from around the world with similar stories. I am trying to find a way to tell those stories, as well.
