Pittsburgh promised to welcome Syrian refugees. These youth give efforts a mixed review.

In 2015, the mayor of Pittsburgh promised to welcome 500 Syrian refugees. By the close of 2017, less than half that number have arrived, and most are struggling. I had lunch with a group of Syrian teens and young adults, and listened to their opinions on how Pittsburgh is handling the growing refugee population. Click here for the full piece.
